Boujee beach clubs you can actually get into

Let’s be honest — when you hear “French Riviera” and “beach club” in the same sentence, you probably picture velvet ropes, VIP-only everything and eye-watering minimum spends. But here’s the secret: there are glamorous beach clubs along the Côte d’Azur that deliver on the style and sparkle without the snobbery. Whether you’re sipping rosé in Cannes or dancing barefoot in Saint-Tropez, these boujee beach clubs are as accessible as they are iconic.

Here’s your go-to guide to beach clubs that are high on luxury but low on hassle:

Cannes – La Croisette & Surrounds

Carlton Beach Club

Nestled on the famed La Croisette, Carlton Beach Club is part of the InterContinental Carlton Hotel – and it’s as iconic as it sounds. Think striped parasols, top-tier service and prime sea views. It’s a stylish spot to chill, yet walk-ins are welcome (especially for lunch) and you’ll often find a sunbed without needing to book weeks ahead.

La Môme Plage

Fashionable but friendly, La Môme is a newer gem on La Croisette and has quickly earned a reputation for its upbeat vibes, great seafood and Insta-worthy decor. The crowd here is chic but welcoming – no need for an invite-only bracelet.

Croisette Beach by JW Marriott

This beach club combines five-star hospitality with a relaxed Riviera feel. Expect plush loungers, attentive staff and a killer rosé list – all without the exclusivity overload. You can book your spot online or pop by on quieter days.

La Guérite (Île Sainte-Marguerite)

Okay, this one feels exclusive, but it’s totally doable. Hop on a short boat ride from Cannes to Île Sainte-Marguerite and you’ll land at La Guérite – a secluded, ultra-cool beach restaurant and lounge tucked away on the rocks. It’s a hotspot, so book ahead, but it’s open to all and definitely worth the journey.

Saint-Tropez & Pampelonne Beach

Club 55
An institution on Pampelonne Beach, Club 55 manages to be both legendary and laid-back. A-listers have lunched here since Brigitte Bardot’s And God Created Woman, but you’ll still find room for a casual glass of wine and fresh grilled fish. Reservations help, but the vibe stays unpretentious.

Nikki Beach

If you’re in the mood for a party, Nikki Beach delivers high-energy days with DJs, champagne showers and white-on-white everything. It’s famous, yes — but still accessible if you plan ahead. Expect minimum spends for beds, but lunch or cocktails on the terrace are fair game for all.

Cap d’Antibes

Plage Keller

Elegant and serene, Plage Keller is a standout on Cap d’Antibes, tucked into the stunning bay of Garoupe. It’s more refined than rowdy – the kind of place where you linger over lunch and wade into the clearest water on the Riviera. It books out in peak season, but it’s welcoming and worth the effort.

Saint-Raphaël

Les Roches Rouge

Part of the chic hotel of the same name, Les Roches Rouges is a design-lover’s dream with a saltwater pool carved into the rocks. The beach club here is minimalist and magical, ideal for a quieter, more off-the-beaten-path Riviera escape. Come for the view, stay for the rosé.

Final Thoughts

Not all beach clubs are created equal – and not all require a VIP pass. These spots combine the best of the Riviera lifestyle: glamorous settings, good vibes and accessibility for those in the know. So, whether you’re lounging with locals in Antibes or dancing in the sand at Nikki Beach, you can bring your boujee energy — no gatekeeping required.

A Taste of Riviera Glamour: 6 Unforgettable Restaurants on the French Coast

Where moon-influenced menus, art-strewn auberges and overwater tables make every bite a moment to remember.

Dining on the Côte d’Azur: More Than a Meal

The French Riviera has long been a playground for creatives, aristocrats and jet-setters—and its culinary scene reflects just that. Here, every table tells a story, from a clifftop tasting menu inspired by lunar rhythms to a seafood feast served atop a rocky outcrop with the waves crashing below.

Whether you’re island-hopping to a private beach club, sipping wine beneath Matisse paintings, or dancing after dinner under the stars, these six restaurants offer something beyond just a meal—they offer an experience.

Mirazur, Menton – A Michelin Star Between Earth and Sky

It’s hard to put Mirazur into words—it must be felt. Perched between sea and mountain in the postcard-perfect town of Menton, this three-Michelin-star restaurant is a pilgrimage for lovers of nature, flavour and artistry.

Chef Mauro Colagreco takes inspiration from the lunar cycle, crafting dishes in sync with the cosmos. Expect edible poetry: Gillardeau oysters with citrus, Bordighera squid, spiny lobster and rack of lamb with red miso. Every plate is a reflection of the moon, the land and the sea—visually stunning and soul-stirring.

JAN, Nice – A South African Love Letter to Fine Dining

Tucked into the Old Port of Nice, JAN is an intimate 20-seat restaurant from Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen, the first South African chef to earn a Michelin star. Here, heritage meets haute cuisine.

His tasting menu is seasonal and sustainable—South African staples reimagined for a Riviera audience. Dishes like scallops with orange blossom and rooibos, mielie pap with tomato and caviar and sago pudding with buchu elevate comfort food to art. The result? A journey that’s as warm and thoughtful as it is technically masterful.

La Guérite, Cannes – Island Dining with Soul

Set on the island of Sainte-Marguerite, La Guérite is only reachable by boat—and all the more magical for it. What began in 1902 as a fisherman’s hideaway has transformed into one of the Riviera’s most exclusive beach clubs and restaurants.

Executive Chef Yiannis Kioroglou channels his Greek heritage into a soulful, open-fire menu: chargrilled lobster, smoky lamb, and market-fresh vegetables kissed by the flames. The atmosphere is relaxed yet radiant, with glittering sea views and champagne flowing into the sunset.

La Colombe d’Or, St-Paul-de-Vence – Where Art and Appetite Meet

Dining at La Colombe d’Or is like stepping into a secret chapter of French history. Nestled in the hillside village of St-Paul-de-Vence, this humble auberge has hosted some of the greatest artists of the 20th century—from Picasso to Calder—many of whom paid with their work.

Today, Matisse and Miró still look on as you enjoy Provençal classics on the terrace: grilled rabbit, ratatouille, cheese-laced gratins, and full-bodied regional wines. The art is priceless. The cuisine is simple perfection.

Le Plongeoir, Nice – Dining Above the Sea

Suspended above the Mediterranean on a rocky outcrop, Le Plongeoir is part restaurant, part Riviera fantasy. Its iconic structure—perched where a diving board once stood—makes this one of the most photographed restaurants in France and for good reason.

But beyond the setting, the food is beautifully fresh and evocative of summer: zucchini flower beignets, marinated octopus, pan-seared tuna, and hand-cut Iberian ham. Come for the views, stay for the food—and if romance is on the itinerary, consider this your golden-hour must.

Bâoli, Cannes – Where Dinner Turns Into a Dance floor

Start with dinner, end on the dancefloor—that’s the Bâoli promise. Set in glamorous Port Canto, Bâoli Cannes delivers a dynamic trio: destination dining, rooftop lounging, and an electric nightlife scene.

Chef Rémi Solaz presents bold Asian-Mediterranean fusion dishes—summer truffle risotto, pad Thai, sushi platters, and veal cutlets. After your meal, ascend to Cloud Nine, the chic rooftop bar with sweeping views of the bay. By nightfall, the restaurant transforms into a pulsing club where DJs and dancers keep the Riviera spirit alive until dawn.

Danny & Jenny’s extraordinary getaway – Kimpton Los Monteros

We recently had the pleasure of planning a weekend break at The Kimpton Los Monteros in Marbella for Danny and Jenny, winners of the ITV reality series “My Mum, Your Dad“.

After watching them open up on the show with such honesty and humour, we knew we wanted to do something special to celebrate their journey, as they marked their first six months together. So, we surprised them with a well-earned break at Kimpton Los Monteros, complete with hotel, flights, fine dining and some much-needed poolside downtime.

They both had a fantastic time and just when we thought the trip had wrapped up perfectly… a power outage hit parts of Europe, including Spain. Cue the drama….

At 2am, we got the call – Jenny had made it back with no trouble, but what happened tp Danny’s flight? Cancelled!

The good news! – that’s what Travel Seen are here for.

Why?

Because within the hour, we managed to:

☑️ Rebook Danny into the same hotel room at the original rate

☑️ Arranged for the hotel to cover his taxi fare in cash during the outage

☑️ Found a new flight out of Gibraltar so he could fly out the next morning

☑️ Stayed in regular until he boarded safely

Because at Travel Seen, we’re more than just a booking platform — we’re your travel people. From dreamy destinations to unexpected plot twists, we’re right there with you, from start to finish.

French summer breaks – chic & timeless

There’s a reason France continues to top the travel wish lists year after year — and in 2025, it’s more desirable than ever. From sun-drenched countryside escapes to scenic coastal beauty and the iconic elegance of Paris, France offers a refined blend of culture, cuisine, and charm that’s hard to beat.

Here’s why:

Beyond luxury stays — curated experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Today’s travellers are looking for more than just five-star hotels. They want stories. Whether it’s a private wine tasting in Bordeaux, sailing along the Côte d’Azur, or discovering Paris by night, France delivers experiences that feel intimate, immersive, and incredibly chic.

France, your way

Paris : Skip the clichés and step into the city’s quieter elegance. Think private gallery tours in Le Marais, sipping Champagne on a hidden rooftop terrace, and staying in a former townhouse turned five-star hideaway. This is Paris for the culturally curious and fashion-forward.

Provence : Trade the crowds for countryside calm. Wander through sun-drenched vineyards with a private sommelier, explore farmers’ markets with a local chef, and unwind in a centuries-old stone farmhouse where rustic charm meets understated luxury.

The French Riviera : The Riviera isn’t just glitz — it’s golden-hour cruises past pastel harbours, poolside lunches at cliffside villas, and wandering coastal towns with a personal guide. Whether you’re in Saint-Tropez or tucked away in Èze, it’s glamour with soul.

Underrated & undeniably luxe

Bordeaux : This is wine country reimagined. Stay in chic vineyard estates, enjoy private tastings at iconic châteaux, and dine in candlelit cellars where every course is paired to perfection. It’s where tradition meets timeless indulgence.

Lyon : Where serious foodies come to play. Beyond its Michelin stars, Lyon is a city of hidden bouchons, vibrant riverside markets, and an energy that fuses classic French savoir-faire with a modern creative pulse.

Burgundy : Unhurried and utterly refined. Base yourself at COMO Le Montrachet, surrounded by rolling vines and storied villages. Here, tastings are led by sommeliers who’ve mastered their craft — and every glass comes with a view worth lingering over.
